PM meets chairman of Qatar chamber of commerce and industry [Jordan News Agency](Jordan News Agency Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Amman, Feb. 13 (Petra) -- Prime Minister Abdullah Ensour received on Thursday the Chairman of Qatar Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Board of Directors, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammad Al-Thani. Also present on this occasion were President of the Jordan Chamber of Commerce Nael Kabariti and the board chairman of Al Jaber Group. Ensour praised the ties between Jordan and Qatar, and noted how these have been developing, thanks to the support of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani. He highlighted the need to further promote bilateral ties, adding that both countries have the political will to strengthen political and economic relations. Jordan, Ensour said, welcomes Qatari investments in the country, noting that the government was ready to address any obstacles that investors faced. Sheikh Khalifa voiced his willingness to enhance economic and investment ties with Jordan and welcomed a visit by Jordanian businessmen to Qatar to brief their Qatari counterparts about Qatari investment opportunities in the Kingdom.
