Meridian Delta growth prompts jobs boom [Newcastle Journal (England)](Newcastle Journal (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) MARKETING firm Meridian Delta is expanding its workforce through the creation of 25 new jobs. The Newcastle business said contract wins made last year with the likes of Manchester United, Nestle, Ford and ASDA have led to a predicted turnover of Pounds 2.7m for the coming year. The deals have now prompted the firm to strengthen the sales team, leading to initial plans to recruit 10 new members of staff with further posts being created later. The firm's latest recruitment drive will take the workforce to 70 and the majority of the jobs on offer will be for sales staff. Apprentices will also be taken on. The company also plans to launch a mobile website and apps development division. Chris Black, sales team manager, said: "We are actively scouring the North East for the most talented and hungry people within the region who can join us on the next stage of our journey."
