MDSL First Global TEM Provider to Achieve AOTMP Efficiency First® Solution Certification; MDSL - one of the first vendors to enroll in AOTMP's new Telecom Expense Management Certification Program - wins full accreditation

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) London, New York, Paris, Tokyo and Hong Kong -- MDSL, a leading provider of global Telecom Expense Management (TEM) and Market Data Management (MDM) solutions today announced that it has been awarded full accreditation in AOTMP's prestigious Efficiency First Certification Program for its suite of TEM and Wireless Managed Mobility (WMM) offerings.

AOTMP's Efficiency First Solution Certification is a new standard for driving technical, financial and operational efficiency across enterprise fixed and mobile telecom environments, pioneered by one of the leading authorities on driving performance in the enterprise telecom sector.

AOTMP judged MDSL's solution capabilities to be fully aligned with all 13 of the Efficiency First Framework Model's Fixed Telecom Management activities for which it offers services, and all 16 of the related Mobile Telecom Management activities.

The new initiative involves submitting every aspect of the vendor's services and solutions to a rigorous process of testing, evaluation and independent client verification. It will help organizations make informed decisions about how best to manage their telecom spend, by providing them for the first time with independently calibrated benchmarks against which to judge the robustness, efficiency, security, risk and compliance of potential TEM vendors.

Client feedback confirmed the view taken by AOTMP in deciding to issue MDSL's accreditation, including comments such as: "...large, positive financial impact: major efficiency gains and a huge improvement in cost visibility - all as anticipated..." and "...we now have far better cost, inventory, usage, supplier, and strategy vision of our... telecom estate".

Ben Mendoza, MDSL founder and CEO, said: "We are delighted to be collaborating with AOTMP on the Efficiency First Vendor Program and to have been accredited in the first wave of the awards. The TEM market has seen marked changes over the last twelve months, with significant blurring of the lines delineating full TEM solutions from offerings from other vendors: the benchmarking and scoring process which forms a key component of the program will form a valuable guideline for customers seeking to distinguish between the different providers." Timothy C. Colwell, SVP of Global Business Analytics, AOTMP, added: "MDSL is the first global TEM vendor to achieve certification and the domain knowledge and multinational expertise exhibited throughout the certification process was impressive." Mendoza continued: "We were particularly pleased to see the comments from our customers. Our participation in this program provides a further demonstration of MDSL's ongoing commitment to excellence and to providing an unparalleled solution both to them and to the market-place.

"In an arena where service delivery can sometimes become a forgotten promise, we are keen to be scrutinized as rigorously as possible, because our record on service and customer satisfaction is second to none. Our clients allocate significant time and funding to the implementation of TEM services and they need to be able to demonstrate that MDSL's solutions provide them with efficiency savings and reporting clarity that they will not find anywhere else."
