Amartus Joins Intel® Network Builders Program

DUBLIN, Ireland --(Business Wire)--

Amartus, a developer of dynamic, programmable multi-vendor service orchestration and management software solutions for telecoms, today announced it has joined the Intel® Network Builders program, designed to make it easier to build, enhance and operate software-defined network (SDN)- and network function virtualization (NFV)-based infrastructure.

Amartus, through its unique Chameleon SDS™ platform, delivers the "missing piece" of a carrier-class SDN / NFV architecture by providing service providers with the means to fully automate the design, provisioning and operation of dynamic, on-demand, elastic cloud access and network services that exploit the benefits of virtualization.

By adopting Chameleon SDS, service providers gain much needed service delivery automation and a means to achieve smooth migration from current network technologies to SDN / NFV tecnologies.

"With the rapid increase in demand for cloud access services, service providers need to be able to turn up a diverse range of services quickly and seamlessly and Chameleon SDS empowers them to do just that," said Michael Kearns, president and CEO of Amartus. "We are proud of the success of Chameleon SDS in tackling this complex problem and are glad to be able to join Intel (News - Alert) Network Builders and collaborate with other leading innovators in the industry."

"The addition of Amartus to the Intel Network Builders ecosystem, working along with other members and Intel architecture, will help bring SDN and NFV services to market more quickly," said Renu Navale, manager of the Intel Network Builders program. "These advanced networking technologies will help service providers reduce costs and deliver services to customers more quickly."
