Senders can control recipients' ability to copy, forward, save or print email content; Businesses can now automatically encrypt all outgoing emails, including from hand-held devices

(M2 PressWIRE Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Email encryption software which allows senders to control whether recipients can copy, forward, save or print information will be made available in the UK and Europe for the first time on Monday.

Unlike traditional solutions, the Encryptics for Email solution encrypts email content and almost any type of file attachment while the data is still on the laptop, desktop, tablet or smartphone on which it was created, before it's transmitted over the Internet. Using a unique Trusted Peer-to-Peer(TM) platform, Encryptics then delivers secure messages directly to recipients, which means private data is not vulnerable to hacks or leaks in transit. Once the email and any attachments reach their destination, Encryptics software decrypts all content on the recipient's device. Private data never leaves the protection of the device, is only accessible to authorised users and never touches Encryptics' servers.

Crucially, Encryptics provides data access controls that can be enforced in 'real time', enabling the sender to maintain document integrity by preventing Forward, Copy, Print and Save functions. Senders can specify when and how many times recipients can view the content, receive discreet read receipts and issue recalls at any time.

Encryptics for Email also allows companies to set rules--based on their organisation's security policies--that will automatically enforce encryption on outgoing email messages. Because all encryption occurs at the device level, this Policy Based Protection greatly reduces data loss and liability involved in email communication.

Since launching its patented encryption and data solutions stateside, Encryptics has amassed a user-base of US government organisations, law enforcement agencies, law firms, oil and gas suppliers, health providers and financial services.

On Monday it will partner with UK-based Templewood Homeland Security Solutions, a strategic advisory consultancy, to launch its European operation in London.

Offering an unprecedented level of email security and data management, Encryptics is already attracting attention from the British and European counterparts of its US adopters.

Compatible with any email service, Encryptics for Email can be easily implemented into employees' normal workflow.

It works by combining a server with peer-to-peer delivery to use the best of both encryption models. The authentication servers verify user IDs, hardware IDs, and Usage and Access Rights across multiple platforms and domains. This way, the authentication process is easily managed from a central location, but encryption is handled entirely at the device level. The private content never leaves the protection of the device and never touches Encryptics servers--or any other servers or networks--as it travels to its destination. This enables cloud-based or on-site data protection for consumer use or business-wide integration.

Ideal for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) and mobile environments, this cross-platform solution provides data protection in the office and for employees working remotely.

"We have a deep understanding of the data privacy and security solutions market and don't believe there is anything as effective and inventive as Encryptics," said Harvey Soning, Chairman of Templewood Homeland Security Solutions. "Many organisations remain very concerned that despite their efforts, sophisticated hackers may still obtain their sensitive data. Our mission at Templewood is to collaborate with these organisations and ensure the right people, processes and technologies are in place to prevent unauthorized access. Encryptics is now a big part of our approach." "With the continued stream of bad news for private and public organizations suffering data security breaches it was obviously time for a new strategy," said Mitch Scherr, Chief Executive Officer, Encryptics. "This is a global challenge and we're proud that our first international efforts are in partnership with a company like Templewood. They've earned the respect of business leaders and government officials for providing smart counsel and cutting-edge technologies to address the continued threat of cybercrimes." Encryptics also offers a Data Protection API, which can be used by organisations to implement Encryptics' technology into existing products and workflows. This option helps organisations protect sensitive data handled outside of email--in cloud services and web applications, for example.
