VeliQ Strengthens Management Team Following a Record Year with a 250% Increase in Revenue

VeliQ, the provider of the complete mPaaS™ (mobility Platform-as-a-Service) solution for company-wide mobility, has strengthened its management team following a record year in which it achieved a 250% increase in revenue. Edgar Jager, formerly at SAP (News - Alert), has been named Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Steve Crummey, who previously held this position, has been promoted to Chair of the Board of Directors. In his new role, Steve will guide the company to new uncharted territory. Furthermore, as of last autumn, Ron van Bijsterveld holds the position of Chief Technology Officer. With this reinforcement of the management team, VeliQ intends to build on the success of its increased revenue growth via a fast-growing global partner program.

International breakthrough

In his role as Vice President at SAP, Edgar Jager was responsible for developing OEM business and third party software in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) for six years. Previously, he held senior management positions for a number of years at Adobe (News - Alert) Corporation, Macromedia and Blue Martini Software. "I see this as just the start of an internatinal breakthrough for VeliQ, thanks to collaboration with large partners such as Portugal Telecom (News - Alert), SAP and Vimpelcom," says Jager.
