4MEDICA'S IEHR(R) Cloud Ambulatory Solution Version 15.10 Receives 2014 ONC HIT Certification

(Marketwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) LOS ANGELES, CA -- (Marketwired) -- 01/29/14 -- 4medica, a leading provider of cloud clinical integration platform and solutions, announced today that its iEHR® Cloud Ambulatory Solution version 15.10, is compliant with the ONC 2014 Edition criteria and was certified as an EHR Module on November 27, 2013 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ACB, in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The ONC 2014 Edition criteria support both Stage 1 and 2 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).

"We believe this initial certification positions 4medica's iEHR Cloud Ambulatory Solution to offer physician practices an easy to use, rapidly installable and affordable SaaS solution to qualify for the rigorous Stage 2 meaningful use requirements," said Oleg Bess, M.D., 4medica's CEO. "One of very few certified cloud-hosted electronic health records for the ambulatory care setting, the 4medica iEHR helps physicians streamline workflow and exchange information to enhance and coordinate quality care. In a few weeks, 4medica will have complete certification in place for physician practices, putting them well ahead of and prepared for the October 2014 attestation date." The ONC HIT Certification Program certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2014 Edition criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more -- but not all -- of the criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for either eligible provider or hospital technology. Companies offering ONC HIT certified EHR modules may return to test additional ONC 2014 Edition criteria and certify their products as Complete EHRs later. ONC HIT certification updates will be available at http://www.cchit.org as they occur.

"CCHIT congratulates companies successfully achieving EHR technology certification," said Alisa Ray, executive director, CCHIT. "These companies are now able to make their products available to providers wishing to adopt health IT to demonstrate meaningful use and earn federal incentives." 4medica iEHR® Cloud Ambulatory Solution, version 15.10's certification number is CC-2014-401670-1. ONC HIT certification conferred by CCHIT does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
