FILES (8-K) Disclosing Change in Directors or Principal Officers(Edgar Glimpses Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers. (b) On January 27, 2014, J. Daniel McCranie, Chairman of the Board of Directors (the "Board") of Freescale Semiconductor, Ltd. (the "Company"), informed the Board that he will not stand for re-election at the Company's next annual general meeting. There were no disagreements with the Company on any matter related to the Company's operations, policies or practices that led to Mr. McCranie's decision. Mr. McCranie plans to continue serving on the Board until the Company's next annual general meeting in the second quarter of 2014.
