Sondrel, one of the world's leading system-to-silicon IC design consultancies, has announced it has opened a new US office in Silicon Valley. The company has also appointed Richard Lee as Vice-President of Sales, North America. Lee has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, most recently from VeriSilicon (News - Alert) Inc. where he was Vice President of Sales for eight years and specialised in global mobile, consumer and smart energy SoCs, strategic design, turnkey services and IP licensing. His other notable prior achievements include senior sales positions at Open Silicon, eSilicon, NEC (News - Alert) Electronics and others.
