CIBT Announces Director Election Results and Approval of Alteration of Articles

CIBT Education Group Inc. (TSX: MBA, OCTQX International: MBAIF) ("CIBT Group") reports the voting results of the election of directors at its annual general meeting held today pertaining to the fiscal year ended August 31, 2013, as required by Toronto Stock Exchange. All of the director nominees, as listed in the management information circular dated November 29, 2013, were elected. Voting as to each of the director nominees was as follows:

The results of the other matters voted upon by shareholders are reported in the Report of Voting Results filed today on SEDAR.

CIBT Group also reports that shareholders approved the alteration of its articles to include advance notice provisions relating to the nomination of individuals for election of directors. These provisions are designed to (i) facilitate orderly and efficient shareholder meetings at which directors are to be elected; (ii) ensure that all shareholders, including those participating in a shareholders' meeting by proxy rather than in person, receive adequate notice of all director nominations and sufficient information with respect to all nominees; and (iii) allow shareholders to register an informed vote.
