ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 21 -- Google, Mountain View, Calif., has been assigned a patent (8,621,317) developed by Robert Cypher, Saratoga, Calif., for methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs "encoded on a computer storage medium, for modified orthogonal coding techniques."
