Ciena appoints as vice president and GM for EMEA [ITP.net (United Arab Emirates)]


(ITP.net (United Arab Emirates) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Network solutions specialist Ciena Corporation, has appointed Benoit de la Tour as vice president and general manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.

According to Ciena, De la Tour will lead the company's growth in EMEA as the company deepens its relationships with service provider and enterprise customers and partners across the region. In addition, he will also provide strategic counsel to enable service provider and enterprise customers to adopt an OPn network approach that leverages the Ciena's expertise in optical, packet and software for greater network intelligence, automation and application awareness.
