(b) On January 12, 2014, Alan Campbell, the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Freescale Semiconductor, Ltd. (the "Company") gave notice that he has decided to retire from the Company. Mr. Campbell has agreed to remain at the Company during a transition period and the Company has initiated a process to identify his successor. There were no disagreements with the Company on any matters relating to its operations, policies or practices that led to Mr. Campbell's decision. The Company also issued a press release on January 13, 2014, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
