Gov. Perry Appoints Three to Jefferson and Orange County Board of Pilot Commissioners(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 10 -- Gov. Rick Perry, R-Texas, announced the following appointment: Gov. Rick Perry has appointed three members to the Jefferson and Orange County Board of Pilot Commissioners for terms to expire Aug. 22, 2015. George W. Brown III of Beaumont is president and CEO of Jefferson Land Company Inc., Brown Resource Group Inc., and Aquila Golf Inc. He is a volunteer at Monsignor Kelly Catholic High School, a past board member of the Jefferson County Industrial Development Corporation, and a founding member, past vice president and past board member of the Texas Golf Course Owners Association. He is also a past executive board member of the Boy Scouts of America Three Rivers Council and a past board member of Family Services of Southeast Texas. Brown received a bachelor's degree from Lamar University. He is reappointed to the board. Bradley "Brad" Rutledge of Orange is president and CEO of Golden Triangle Industries Inc. He is owner of Pro-Cure, B.A.R Development, Highway 62 Enterprises and Affordable Storage. He is a member of the Better Business Bureau of Southeast Texas, Orange Rotary Club, Greater Orange Area Chamber of Commerce, ABC of Southeast Texas, American Rental Association and Texas Self Storage Association. Rutledge is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Southeast Texas. James Scott of Beaumont is vice president of Trans-Global Solutions Inc. He is a member of the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association and National Railroad Construction and Maintenance Association. He is also a volunteer for St. Anthony Cathedral Basilica and vice president of the Gay D. and William F. Scott Family Foundation.
