Leading Wearable Tech Events Return to NYC in 2014

NORWALK, Conn. --(Business Wire)--

TMC (News - Alert) today announced that the leading wearable tech industry event on the East Coast, the Wearable Tech Conference & Expo III, will return to the Kimmel Center at New York University in New York City on July 23-24, 2014. On July 22, 2014, the event will commence with the Fitness & Sports Wearable Technology (FAST) Expo II, also at the Kimmel Center. Both events provide attendees with case studies, demos and unique sessions that discover the current and future state of the billion dollar wearable tech market.

FAST (News - Alert) Expo delivers a focused, in-depth look into wearable, mobile and data technologies in the fitness and sports industries. From sensor technology to exploring the data captured by wearable devices and examining real-time player biometric and performance data, the event features discussions on critical aspects of the industry.

Directly following FAST Expo, the Wearable Tech Expo will explore a wide range of topics, including the benefits of augmented reality and some of the products associated with it; the role of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) in the wearables market; smart innovations for clothing and home; key insight for startups; and much more. The Wearable Tech Expo is a highly-anticipated East Coast event for the wearables industry, and will once again feature an exciting Demo Forum, where companies present product and technology demonstrations in front of a live audience and panel of judges. Attendees hear, touch and see the future of wearable tech from the industry experts creating the innovations.

"The Wearable Tech and FAST Expos are elite events that showcase new technology, gadgets and tools for the wearable industry," said Rich Tehrani, TMC CEO and conference chairman. "Attendees come to these events to hear from top speakers, see successful products and ultimately get a better and detailed understanding of where the market currently is and where it could be in the near future."
