The OPERATION INK-OFF events will take place in clinics located in Southern California, Phoenix, Atlanta, Dallas and Houston on Sunday, January 12 and Monday, January 13, 2014 from 10am to 4pm. On a first-come, first-served basis, people with tattoos up to 10 inches in size can have their tattoo evaluated by a trained, licensed medical professional who will provide an estimate of how long it will take to remove and the probability of success. Following the assessment, all patients will be offered a same-day removal treatment session, free of charge. According to patient surveys conducted by Dr. Tattoff, the top reasons for removing a tattoo include improving one's job prospects, entering or seeking a new romantic relationship, and having children. To provide an accurate estimate of time and treatments required, Dr. Tattoff utilizes the only nationally published and proprietary Kirby-Desai tattoo removal scale, which was developed in part by leading dermatologist and Dr. Tattoff Chief Medical Officer, Will Kirby, D.O.
