Strong year sees firm win new accreditation [Newcastle Journal (England)]


(Newcastle Journal (England) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) COUNTY Durham company O F Bell Injection Moulding is celebrating a successful year that saw it gain certification with the Quality Management Standard BS EN ISO 9001:2008.

The firm, which recently moved to High Etherley, Bishop Auckland, employs 16 staff and has a turnover of Pounds 1.2m. For 30 years it has been supplying clients worldwide with miniature injection moulded parts.

The company has also been involved with WorldSkills - the largest international skills competition and careers event that draws young people from all over the world - since 2011 and last year took part in the event in Leipzig, Germany. O F Bell Injection Moulding likewise recently upgraded its tool room software capability with CAD CAM Ez Cam Version 20.0 in order to read all common 3D programmes.



Managing director Mark Beard said: "Our year has been very rewarding after winning substantial orders from several new customers.

"However, along with business growth, we must acknowledge that clients continue to look for high-quality standards and it is important to challenge ourselves to attain these standards, and therefore reinvest in the business." Business development manager, Sylvia Dickinson added: "Our pipeline of potential projects has never looked so healthy and with plans for a new clean room and assembly area we are all very excited about what the new year will harvest."
