Graduate Food Marketing Names New Director


(Targeted News Service Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 21 -- St. Joseph's University issued the following news release: Saint Joseph's University's Haub School of Business welcomes Bryant Wynes of Abingdon, Md., as the new director of the executive food marketing graduate program. He replaces Christine Hartmann, who assumed the role of director of the Haub School's professional MBA program.



A senior executive in the food industry, Wynes directed marketing and advertising activities for a variety of retail and wholesale companies, including Lucky Stores/Eagle Foods, Food Barn Stores, Associated Wholesale Grocers and Giant Food Stores. He also served as senior account manager with Meridian Advertising and senior executive of retail marketing for the Produce for Better Health Foundation. Wynes has contributed to varied industry discussions as well as presented at several seminars and conferences.

In his new role, Wynes will oversee the MBA, M.S. and post-master's certificate programs to deliver recruitment, enrollment and financial goals while supporting the Haub School's academic objectives. Additionally, he will lend leadership and support to the Food Marketing Enterprise which includes the food marketing faculty and staff, the Center for Food Marketing and the Academy of Food Marketing.


The SJU Executive Food Marketing graduate program is the only food industry-focused program of its kind that is offered through an AACSB-accredited business school. It is designed for executives and rising leaders in the food and allied industries, with a flexible Friday/Saturday executive format and modular course credits that allow students to pace themselves toward a Food Marketing MBA or M.S. degree, or a post-master's certificate.
