GigaSpaces' Cloudify Joins Forces with Nebula One for Private Clouds

NEW YORK --(Business Wire)--

GigaSpaces Technologies, a pioneer of next generation application and cloud enablement platforms, today announced a technology partnership with Nebula, a private cloud company. With Cloudify's open source application management platform and the Nebula One turnkey private cloud system, enterprises can deploy an OpenStack-based private cloud in under a day and migrate their applications onto their cloud without any code or architectural changes.

"Our mission has always been to make the deployment and management of application on OpenStack simple," said Nati Shalom, CTO of GigaSpaces (News - Alert). "With the Nebula partnership, we are able to not only make the application deployment and management simple, but also enable users to build an OpenStack cloud in a matter of hours."

The modern enterprise demands support for hybrid and multi-cloud environments. GigaSpaces' Cloudify is a free and open source application management platform that enables the easy deployment, management and scaling of enterprise applications in the cloud. With this announcement, Cloudify enables a seamless migration of applications to Nebula One private cloud with no code or architecture changes required.

Using "application recipes," Cloudify automates the setup, deploy, monitor, auto-repair and scale processes of mission-critical and big data applications on public and private clouds. Cloudify comes with recipes for the easy deployment of popular applications including big data services including Hadoop, Cassandra, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and database clusters such as MySQL and PostgreSQL. It also provides automation tools to enable DevOps processes in the Nebula One cloud.

"Nebula and GigaSpaces share a vision of helping enterprises deploy next-generation cloud applications on OpenStack-powered infrastructure," said Nebula CTO and Co-Founder Devin Carlen. "Together, Cloudify and Nebula One are making it simpler than ever to take advantage of the scalability and flexibility of applications running in private and hybrid cloud environments."
