Scope students on a Centre for Research and Staff Performance visit [News] [Times of India]


(Times of India Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BHOPAL: Electronics and communication department students of Scope College of Engineering recently visited Centre for Research and Staff Performance (CRISP) as part of their educational tour. During their visit, students learnt about laboratories and machineries. Deputy general manager of CRISP, Asha Nayar informed students about embedded system- a computer system with a dedicated function within a larger mechanical or electrical system, often with real-time computing. Faculty, including Abhinay Gupta, Balram Yadav and others accompanied the students.



V-C feted: Vice-chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Professor BK Kuthiala was awarded national education leadership award at the function organized in Mumbai recently for his contribution to education. He received the award for introducing courses, including advertising, communication, marketing, and promoting research & innovation in education.

MCCE: Sandeep Singh, Ram Babu and Sneha Raikwar were adjudged winners in a debate competition organized for students of Maharishi Centre for Educational Excellence (MCEE) and Maharishi Institute of Management (MIM) on Saturday. Theme of the competition was 'Supreme Court instructions to election commission of India to include- Right to Reject Button in EVM Machine'. Director of the institute, Dr TPS Kandra inaugurated the event.


National seminar: A national seminar on smart grid and beyond was organized at RKDF College of Engineering on Saturday. Department of electrical and electronics engineering organized the seminar According the organizers, the topics included smart grid, power grid, solar energy system, biomass energy and wind energy. Several technical papers were also presented on the occasion.

LNCT: Students of mechanical engineering department of Laxmi Narayan College of Technology (LNCT) have qualified for the virtual round of SUPRA-SAE India competition- a motor racing event for engineering students across the country. The LNCT team named Aerox secured 64th position in the competition with 174 participants. The team will prepare for the next and final round. Team members, include Shriram Pasrija, Apoorva Raikwar, Govind Sodani, Aditya Tiwari, Avijeet Soni, Gaurav Rahalkar and Shubham Karode. Dr VN Bartaria, Professor SN Jaisawal and Professor Rana M Maurya was the team guide.
