Vendavo Expands World-Class Engineering Team to Lead Development of New Profitable Selling Solutions

The company appointed Ravi Mirchandaney as senior vice president of engineering, and has expanded its overall team to more than 90 engineers distributed across the United States and the Czech Republic. This growth has been fueled in part by hiring talent from some of the country’s most innovative companies, including Ariba, IBM, Apple and various Wall Street financial firms. Additionally, since Ravi’s arrival at the company, the engineering team filed five patents related to Big Data analytics.

As a result of his team’s work, the company will release several SaaS and Big Data analytics technologies to enable customers grow more profitably.

While at the company, Ravi delivered industry-leading analytics products that are currently deployed by some of the leading utilities in the US. He also served in various management and senior engineering positions at Siebel Systems and Oracle. Early in his career, Ravi was a senior research scientist at Shell Oil Company, and also served on the research faculty at Yale University.
