Contact information: Tel: (051) 111-410-410 Disclosure of inside information by listed Company in terms of Section 15D(1) Three Gas Discoveries at Mari Development and Production Lease Area, Daharki, District, Ghotki, Sind. By the Grace of Allah (SWT), Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) has made three gas discoveries during the drilling of Exploration wells in its Mari D and P Lease Area. The cumulative production to be added to the country's gas production from said discoveries is estimated to be approximately 6 MMSCFD. MPCL is the sole owner and Operator of Mari D and P Lease, located at Daharki, Sind Province. The said discovery Wells were drilled back to back in Pirkoh Formation and were spud-in and completed within a short period of two months to depths ranging between 551 to 667 meters. The wells were drilled using MPCL's own Sky Top Brewester Rig and crew. Successful drill stems tests (DST) were carried out, by perforating Pirkoh Limestone which resulted in gas flow from all the three wells.
