AfricaRice Board congratulates Dr Papa Seck on his nomination as Senegal Minister of Agriculture and Rural EquipmentCOTONOU, Benin, Sep 04, 2013 /PR Newswire Africa via COMTEX/ -- We are immensely proud to share the news that Dr Papa Abdoulaye Seck, Director General of the Africa Rice Center (AfricaRice), has been nominated by the President of Senegal as the new Minister of Agriculture and Rural Equipment. He will end his appointment at AfricaRice on 12 September 2013 after seven years of outstanding leadership. His vision and passionate commitment to the mission and goals of CGIAR and AfricaRice have transformed the Center and taken it to new levels of excellence. Dr Seck is leaving behind him a well-managed, financially sound and scientifically-vibrant organization.
