Leading Smartcard and Integrated RFID Provider Joins OSPT Alliance [Global Data Point]

ZeitControl provides innovative programmable technology to the transportation market with products ranging from programmable smartcards to RFID labels with integrated microprocessors. Its BasicCard solution enabled customers to program smartcards in the BASIC programing language, providing fast, flexible development of customized smartcard applications. ZeitControl also provides development kits for RFID transponders and transponder tags. The company also introduced the world's first RFID label with integrated microprocessor, which combines its expertise in programmable secure smart cards with extensive knowledge in the RFID sector. The company recently won a tender from the German National Transportation Agency (VDV) to supply the agency with four to eight million contactless BasicCards.
