Dr. Robert Hiromoto has Joined their CipherShop Digital Electronic Security Organization as a Consultant


HENDERSON, Jul 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE via COMTEX) -- via PRWEB - Dr. Hiromoto was recently selected as a Fulbright Scholar for the 2013-2014 academic year and is currently a full professor and Director of the Computer Science Program at the University of Idaho's (UI) Idaho Falls Higher Education Center and is affiliated with the Center for Advanced Energy Studies (CAES) where he collaborates with UI faculty and students in the Computer Science and Nuclear Engineering programs. Before joining UI, Prof. Hiromoto was Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) where he established and directed the Center for Advanced Computing and Network Research. Dr. Hiromoto has extensive experience in parallel computational techniques, parallel algorithm design, and the analysis of eager- and demand-driven modes of computation. His most recent research publications are on parallel graphics rendering architectures, Set Theoretic Estimation approaches to decryption, secure authentication for wireless devices, and communication protocols in unmanned autonomous vehicles (UAV).



Dr. Hiromoto received his doctorate degree in physics from the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) working in the area of Relativity Theory, and spent more than 12 years at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico as a staff member in the Computer Research group.

Dr. Hiromoto will provide specialized consulting services and support for the CipherShop team of computer scientists, graduate students and software developers who have specialties and experience in computer science, information theory, ciphers, cryptography, set theory, tactical and strategic electronic warfare, wireless communications, networking, control systems, communications electronics, commercial telecommunications and military telecommunications. Members of this elite team have Phds and advanced degrees in engineering, computer science and mathematics and have published papers on cryptography and set theory, are CIP certified and are considered experts in the field of cryptography.
