Foxtel slashes prices for its online forayJul 29, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Richard Freudenstein, CEO of pay TV provider Foxtel, is implementing his strategy of boosting subscriber growth via cheaper product offerings. The joint venture of telco Telstra and media group News Corporation will on 4 August 2013 launch its new Foxtel Play service. This will rely on the internet as the delivery medium, cost as little as $A25 a month, and offer a pared-down selection of channels compared with Foxtel's full-line bundles.
