DocDoc to merge with NewCo Internet (DoctorPage)Jun 12, 2013 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- DocDoc Pte., Ltd. has signed a definitive merger agreement with NewCo Internet Pte., Ltd. (DoctorPage.sg). The merged company will operate under the name of DocDoc with headquarters in Boat Quay, Singapore. DocDoc is a provider of an online service which allows patients based in Asia to research doctors and book appointments for free, while NewCo Internet is an owner of DoctorPage, a web and mobile reservation platform that connects doctors with patients. Both the companies are based in Singapore. The merger will combine both DocDoc's expertise in the medical industry and DoctorPage's in digital marketing and patient acquisition. The merged entity will have approximately 30 people, with operators in Singapore and South Korea.
