Survalent Technology Commissions New SCADA System for the City of Troy, Alabama

The City of Troy’s Electric Department serves over 7,800 customers. The line and service crews are responsible for the construction and maintenance of the electric distribution system. The distribution system is made up of 4 electrical substations and more than 170 miles of primary and secondary power lines.

The new system features Survalent’s highly available, open-architecture system based on Windows Server. It includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: WorldView, SmartVU, SCADA Explorer, IED Wizard and Control Panel, Remote Alarm Annunciation, SCADA Replicator/Archiver, WebSurv, and SurvCentral.
