ENBALA Power Networks: Rob Coulbeck Appointed to IESO Stakeholder Advisory Committee


TORONTO, ONTARIO, Mar 5, 2013 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- Rob Coulbeck, Vice President of Regulatory Affairs of ENBALA Power Networks, has been appointed to represent Electricity Service Providers on the Independent Electricity System Operator's (IESO) Stakeholder Advisory Committee.



The IESO manages the supply and demand for electricity in Ontario, directing its flow across the province's transmission lines. The Stakeholder Advisory Committee provides an opportunity for electricity industry professionals to be informed of IESO activities and to provide policy level advice directly to the IESO Board and Executive. Members also discuss reliability standards, the future evolution of the markets, IESO plans, and any other stakeholder considerations.

Mr. Coulbeck is responsible for ENBALA's regulatory and rule requirements as determined by the Independent System Operators and Regional Transmission Operators. He has over 25 years of electricity industry experience with a strong focus in power grid management, generation portfolio optimization, energy trading and demand-side management.
