In conjunction with this certification, Fujitsu and ImageWare have entered into a three year software license agreement to incorporate the BE 2.0 on the NuVola Private Cloud Platform, whereby ImageWare will be paid on a revenue sharing basis. The company will also be working with Fujitsu at the Microsoft Partner Solutions Center to demonstrate several paying, proof of concept pilot projects that will showcase Fujitsu's cloud solution running IWS's CloudID products and services. The intent is to operate CloudID on Fujitsu's public cloud as a software as a service (SaaS) offering. ImageWare expects this agreement will increase its revenues while providing greater stability and forward-looking visibility."

CyberLock Success Story With Lincoln County Jail
Since the Lincoln County Jail opened in 1992, there have been numerous challenges they have had to overcome. With 40% less staff and 60% more inmates, Lincoln County Jail continually searches for new technologies to make their operations more efficient.
Some of the technologies they have in place include advanced TV monitoring with touch screens used for opening and closing doorways, and the CyberLock system.
By law, supervisors are required to perform hourly inmate wellness checks. Prior to the installation of the CyberLock CyberPoint solution, staff would have to write down the time and location of each checkpoint in a ledger, which proved to be inefficient and often unreliable. In order to improve this process, they installed a CyberPoint at each cell door. Now when the staff performs their hourly wellness checks, there is an electronic audit trail confirming that the checks have been performed.
Lincoln County has realized additional benefits since the installation of the CyberLock system. With the reduction of staff, employees had to carry an increasing number of keys to perform their job, which violated security practices. With CyberLock, employees carry only one key, which is reauthorized several times during their shift to perform only the duties they are required to do.
