Telecommunications Industry Association puts JDSU president on board of directors


Feb 26, 2013 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- JDSU (NASDAQ: JDSU) (TSX: JDU) said that David Heard, president of Communications Test and Measurement at JDSU, has been named to the board of directors for the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA).



As a board member, David will contribute to the strategic direction, technology and market pursuits of the association over a two year period. He will also advocate the interests of the TIA in telecommunications, government and international settings.

The TIA is a leading trade association representing global information and communications technologies (ICT) and the high-tech network industry through standards development, policy initiatives, business opportunities, market intelligence and networking events.
