Smartphone app co Gryphonet teams with Deutsche Telekom

Feb 25, 2013 (Globes - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Smartphones analytics developer Gryphonet Ltd. has reached a partnership with Developer Garden, the Deutsche Telekom AG (DAX; DTE) ecosystem for developers. Gryphonet's AppRight platform will enable Developer Garden's new web-based DG App Monitor service and application developers to receive valuable insight on the behavior of their applications.

Gryphonet launched the AppRight monitoring and reporting platform at the Barcelona Mobile World Congress today. The platform offers mobile app developers access to in-depth, post-launch information about their app's behavior, enabling developers to understand in which environments the app functions well, and in which poorly -- and why. The AppRight monitors factors, such as memory problems, crash reports, high battery consumption, and CPU overload.

The platform also enables telecommunications operators to ease their customer maintenance problems, by illuminating their source to the operator. Operators can easily differentiate between application, device and network issues to take appropriate actions, and quickly respond to quality issues in devices and apps.

Gryphonet was founded in 2009 by chairwoman and CEO Irit Rapaport. She previously founded Pelican Security, which was sold to Microsoft Corporation (Nasdaq: MSFT). The company is funded by private investors.
