VMTurbo releases new version of VMTurbo operations manager


Feb 21, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- VMTurbo, Inc., a provider of software-defined control for cloud and virtualized environments, has released the a new version of VMTurbo operations manager, a software-defined control product for cloud and virtualized environments.



The version 3.3 delivers new features that enable intelligent automation across heterogeneous hypervisor and cloud platforms; integrate analytics for planning, deploying and operating virtual data centers; and simplify control for IT operators, the company said.

The product's software-defined control offloads and automates decision-making from operational staff instead of just collecting data and providing alerts.


"VMTurbo delivers simplicity in every aspect of product design and deployment-from its simple virtual appliance delivery to its streamlined user interface to its hands-free automated control of the virtual infrastructure," said Yuri Rabover, vice president of product strategy and co-founder at VMTurbo.

According to the company, the enhanced capabilities in version 3.3 of VMTurbo operations manager include: unified operational control across heterogeneous hypervisors and cloud platforms; integrated analytics for planning, deploying and operating cloud infrastructures and virtual data centers; and simplified control of the IT infrastructure.
