Lumos Networks Continues Transformation With Appointment of Joti Balani as Vice President of MarketingWAYNESBORO, Va. --(Business Wire)-- Lumos Networks Corp. This appointment comes on the heels of the ongoing transformation Lumos Networks embarked upon since its inception in Nov 2011 when it spun off from nTelos. In her new position, Ms. Balani will report to Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, Joseph E. McCourt, Jr. As Vice President of Marketing, Ms. Balani will lead Lumos Networks' marketing communications, public relations, and strategic marketing activities and also facilitate customer relationship management activities across the company further underpinning Lumos Networks' customer-centric focus. She will play a key role in continuing to communicate the company's leadership in high bandwidth, IP-centric connectivity solutions to enterprise & carrier customers. Zayo Group acquired AboveNet in July 2012 as part of a $2.3bn transaction.
