Comtech's subsidiary awarded USD1.1m contract for satellite power amplifiers

Feb 14, 2013 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Provider of advanced communication solutions Comtech Telecommunications Corp (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced on Wednesday that its subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology Inc, has received an order for USD1.1m for the company's 500-Watt, continuous wave (CW), high-power amplifiers for high throughput satellite (HTS) services operating in the Ka-band frequency.

Comtech said that its power amplifiers are designed for high reliability and superior technical performance.
