American Web Loan Unveils Speakers for Webinar; American Web Loan Announces Date for Free Educational Webinar Forum

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK, Feb 13, 2013 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) -- Online lending leader American Web Loan (www.americanwebloan.com) has set company General Manager Jamie Schumann and Online Lenders Alliance (OLA) Director of Communications and Operations Peter Barden as the speakers for its free webinar to take place Wednesday February 20, 2013. Free to the public, the one-hour online educational session will begin at 2:00PM Eastern Time/11:00AM Pacific Time.

The theme of the American Web Loan webinar is Empowering Consumers To Make The Best Loan Product Choices with American Web Loan's executives on hand to provide guidance to clients and consumers on making the best choices that match their individual financial needs.

Jamie Schumann, General Manager of industry leading online lender American Web Loan, joined the company with extensive financial industry experience abroad, working in locales as far-off as India, Ukraine, Japan and the Philippines. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Jamie received the coveted CATM Airman of the Year in 1992 while serving under the Pacific Air Command and he also earned a Senior Airman Below-the-Zone award in 1993. Jamie holds a B.A. degree from Buena Vista University in U.S. and World History. With nearly twenty years experience, Jamie understands well what solutions are right for addressing the unique needs of financial consumers and he works diligently to ensure his team is equally well-equipped to offer the best financial product solutions.

Prior to assuming his position with the Online Lender's Association, Peter Barden served as a Managing Director of Mercury/Clark & Weinstock where he applied his diverse experience in politics, government and finance to work on behalf of his clients. He previously served as Senior Vice President of the Public Governmental Affairs for the New York Power Authority -- the largest state-owned utility in the nation. Mr. Barden also earned the pleasure of serving as former New York Governor George Pataki's Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs. A graduate of Colgate University, Mr. Barden also served six years in the United States Army Reserves. Through his position at the Online Lenders Alliance (OLA), he works to convey their mission for both accredited members and the millions of consumers they serve.

"We are excited to present our free webinar to the public and pleased to welcome respected financial industry expert and Online Lenders Alliance communications officer Peter Barden as co-speaker. It is vitally important to today's consumers that they have all the information required to make the best choices for their specific financial needs. The goal of the webinar is to provide a detailed review of the many lending choices that are available, and a particular look at the ways in which they can engage with online lending. I look forward to being joined in the webinar by Peter Barden -- whose Online Lenders Alliance serves the industry and consumers alike as a significant self-governing force," said Schumann.
