CEA's Shapiro Releases Statement on Bipartisan Legislation to Modify FCC's 'Sunshine' RuleFeb 13, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Gary Shapiro, president and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association, on February 8 released a statement on the FCC Collaboration Act, bipartisan legislation reintroduced in Congress to streamline decision-making at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). This simple rules change will improve the functioning of the FCC, reduce delays, and promote a more rapid decision-making process. We urge Congress to approve this bill expeditiously."
