Rentrak Enters Into TV Essentials Contract with Viamedia

Rentrak Corp., a company focusing on multi-screen media measurement serving the advertising, television and movie industries, announced a multi-year TV Essentials contract with Viamedia, an independent cable rep firm and provider of online advertising services.
According to a release, Viamedia will utilize Rentrak's stable and granular TV measurement across a landscape of broadcast and cable networks to expand opportunities and enhance advertising schedules.

Rentrak said its television ratings measurement service provides daily measurement of all TV networks nationally and at a granular level for TV stations in all 210 media markets nationwide. The service incorporates information from over 20 million televisions and is a fully integrated system of detailed satellite, telco and cable TV viewing data commercially available.
