BRIEF: Poulsbo man charged with burglary of tribal academy

SUQUAMISH, Feb 09, 2013 (Kitsap Sun - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- A 27-year-old Poulsbo man was charged Friday in Kitsap County District Court with second degree burglary for thefts of laptops, a large TV and other items from the Suquamish Tribe's Chief Kitsap Academy that were caught on video surveillance tape Dec. 24-26.

Investigators used images from the tape and testimony of a person who saw the suspect with a laptop bearing a tribal logo, along with other interviews, to make their case for an arrest warrant.

The suspect was extradited from Las Vegas, where he had moved in mid-January. He is in custody at Kitsap County jail.
