BRIEF: Burglars smash and grab at Pembroke Pines cellphone store


Feb 08, 2013 (Sun Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- PEMBROKE PINES -- Another South Florida cellphone store is targeted by smash and grab burglars and this time they made off with an estimated $4,500 worth of cellphones and accessories, Pembroke Pines Police said.



It happened in the AT&T store at 11060 Pines Blvd. where someone drove through a 20-foot wide, plate glass display window on the west side of the building, police said.

Three suspects are seen in the surveillance video running through the store grabbing boxes from under the counters.


One is seen wearing white gloves with dark pants and blue hoodie jacket over a white T-shirt.

The second suspect is wearing a black ski mask, tan gloves with red palms, dark pants and a dark hoodie jacket with large reddish letters across the chest.

The third is wearing dark shorts with a black and red jacket over a white hoodie jacket and black gloves with a white stripe across the back, according to the surveillance videos.

Investigators are urging anyone who recognizes these suspects or has any information about the break-in to call Broward Crimestoppers at 954-493-8477.
