AT&T announces expansion of 4G LTE network in Bucks county


Feb 06, 2013 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- US communications holding company AT&T (NYSE:T) on Tuesday announced the expansion of its 4G LTE network in Bucks county, Now AT&T's 4G LTE coverage extends to parts of Bucks county, including Doylestown and Chalfont.



AT&T's 4G LTE benefits include faster speeds, more efficient use of spectrum and faster response time.

Also, AT&T offers several LTE-compatible devices, including new AT&T 4G LTE smartphones and tablets, such as the Sony Xperia TL, LG Optimus G, Samsung Galaxy S III, Motorola ATRIX HD, HTC One X, Nokia Lumia 920, Samsung Galaxy Note II, and HTC One X+, Samsung ATIV smart PC and ASUS VivoTab RT.


Reportedly, over the past five years, AT&T has invested over USD115bn into operations and into acquiring spectrum and other assets that have enhanced its wireless and wired networks. As a result of these investments, AT&T's 4G LTE network , which delivers speeds up to 10 times faster than 3 G, now covers 288 million people.
