BRIEF: Dunkin' Donuts Clerk Refuses To Give Money To Knife-Wielding Robber

Police are investigating a pair of robberies in Bristol and Plainville on Sunday night.
A woman attempted to rob a Dunkin' Donuts at 855 Farmington Ave. in Bristol around 9:16 p.m. She flashed a knife and demanded money, police said.
But the clerk said, "No" and walked away. The woman left empty-handed.
The suspect in this case is described as between 30 and 40 years of age, about 5-foot-6, between 120 and 130 pounds. She wore a white hoody and a winter cap.
Another robbery was reported minutes later at Dunkin' Donuts at 19 East St. in Plainville. A woman walked in and ordered the lone female employee to empty the register.
"She stated she could kill the employee if she did not comply," said Plainville Capt. Brian N. Mullins.
The employee gave the robber cash from the register. The suspect fled on foot. The robber in this case did not display a weapon but kept her hand in her coat pocket.
The suspect in this case is in her 30s or 40s. She has a medium build. She wore a white, puffy short coat.
