PolicyPak Releases Management Tool for AutoCAD P&ID

Feb 02, 2013 (PRWeb.com via COMTEX) -- PolicyPak Software, a leader in Group Policy software, recently released a new series of Paks which makes life easier for IT admins managing users with AutoCAD products, including AutoCAD P&ID.

This pre-configured Pak for AutoCAD P&ID gives IT admins the ability to deliver and enforce key security settings, and ensure documents are safe. IT admins no longer have to run around from machine to machine to configure teams of AutoCAD users. Using the AutoCAD P&ID Pak, admins can deliver almost all settings and lock them down so users can't work around them. PolicyPak doesn't deploy P&ID using Group Policy; rather it manages and locks down settings in AutoCAD. A video demonstration can be seen here.

Preconfigured Paks are also available for other popular AutoCAD products such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD Inventor2012, and AutoCAD Design Review.

IT Admins and network administrators who want to try out the PolicyPak software can get a free trial by attending a Group Policy Webinar at the PolicyPak Website, or by calling (800) 883-8002.

PolicyPak can deliver settings using Microsoft Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft SCCM, Dell KACE, or any other management tool.

Jeremy Moskowitz, desktop management expert and Group Policy MVP talked about how PolicyPak is the best management option for AutoCAD when he said, "There's simply no way to deliver, enforce or remediate AutoCAD application's settings to teams of AutoCAD users. With PolicyPak, it's a no brainer." About PolicyPak Software: PolicyPak Software (http://www.policypak.com) is the leader in application compliance and desktop management tools for Active Directory. The software enables IT pros to deliver, lockdown and remediate settings for desktops, laptops, VDI sessions, company devices, as well as personal "BYOD" devices. Customers who use PolicyPak are also able to manage all of their other enterprise desktop applications the same way, such as Firefox, Java, Acrobat, and custom applications. These other Paks are included free for PolicyPak Professional customers. PolicyPak was founded by desktop management expert and Microsoft Group Policy MVP Jeremy Moskowitz.
