Mrs. Judd's Games Introduces Juddly, a Secure Message-Sharing Service for Young Children

CHICAGO --(Business Wire)--

Mrs. Judd's Games announces the launch of Juddly, a groundbreaking web-based service and API for mobile apps that empowers children to safely share their in-app artwork and creations directly to their parent's inbox. Juddly is currently available in seven of Mrs. Judd's Games' early childhood education free apps and will soon be included in all titles.

Using Juddly is easy. Parents or teachers set up their Juddly dashboard and connect apps directly to their email. Children interact with an app, then decide when and what to share by clicking on the Juddly icon. Adults receive the child's creation via email and can later organize, display and share it via their dashboard. The Juddly API will be made available to other quality educational app developers who share in Mrs. Judd's Games Promise to protect children's privacy and security in the digital space. Developers interested in becoming a partner should visit the developer's page.

"We love touch-screens because they put children at the helm of their own learning," says Mrs. Judd, a retired kindergarten teacher with more than 25 years of experience. "When children share their creations, the process leads to rich conversation with their parents and loved ones and a better understanding of children's app explorations and experiences."

"The first time my daughter sent me her artwork from her iPad she ran over to see it appear on my phone," said Dan Nelson, father of Maya, age 4. "Now she knows she can use Juddly to send me some love anytime, anywhere, and I'll get it."

The Juddly app and corresponding games are free for children to use and contain no advertising or "freemium" charges. Seven apps currently incorporate Juddly Sendy, creates steampunk-inspired art; Hi Mom!, shares photos in a comic book style; Crabby Writer: Phonics, Read & WriteChalk Walk, promotes pincer grip; Rhinomite, centers on prepositions with superheroes; Left Right Pup, teaches left/right; and Snowflake Station, a math symmetry game that makes it 'snow' on photos.

Mrs. Judd's Games are free at the iTunes App Store and are ideal for children ages 4 through 8. Each game complements U.S. Common Core State Standards. Join in the conversation and connect with Mrs. Judd on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Pinterest.
