Long phoney war on workplace policy awaitsJan 30, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- Unions will make job and income security an election issue with the announcement of the election date. ACTU president Ged Kearney said that Opposition Leader Tony Abbott will have to reveal his workplace policies. The Australian Labor Party and unions will be able to continually question the Opposition on its policies. Abbott released a policy document in late January 2013, but had planned to reveal his industrial relations policy late in the election campaign.
