BRIEF: Police release fresh photos of cellphone theft suspects

Jan 29, 2013 (Sun Sentinel - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- The day before two men and a woman robbed a Coral Springs cellphone store at gunpoint, they did some reconnaissance, according to Coral Springs Police.

That's why detectives had nine new surveillance pictures to circulate on Tuesday with the hope someone will recognize and report the suspects.

These new photographs were taken when the trio visited the T-Mobile store at 1327 N. University Drive on Jan. 16, police said.

They are suspected of robbing that store the next day, making off with 25 cellphones worth an estimated $15,000 and they took the surveillance camera files with them to protect their identities. However, the store's cameras also were hooked up to a remote site that recorded the surveillance pictures and video on both days, police said.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the case to call Detective Chris Collins at 954-346-1262 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-8477.
