BRIEF: Liquor, cigarettes stolen from Fontana marketJan 28, 2013 (San Bernardino County Sun - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- Armed robbers stole eight bottles of liquor, 25 packs of cigarettes and cash from a Fontana market on Saturday. Police said the robbers approached the clerks at the Royal Market at 17070 Walnut Village Parkway about 9 p.m. as they were locking the door to close the store. Two of the robbers, who were armed with handguns, ordered the clerks to re-enter the store. The robbers took liquor, Newport cigarettes and money from the register before fleeing the store.
