BRIEF: Too Toxic To Trash waste event on Feb. 2 [Inland Valley Daily Bulletin, Calif.]


(Inland Valley Daily Bulletin (CA) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Jan. 24--CLAREMONT -- A Too Toxic To Trash hazardous waste and e-waste event will take place Feb. 2 at the Claremont Corporate Yard.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the yard, 1616 Monte Vista Ave.

Household batteries and car batteries, paint, pesticides or herbicides, motor oil, computer monitors, televisions, printers, cell phones, computer CPUs and more are acceptable to bring.

Business waste, trash, tires, explosives, ammunition, controlled substances, refrigerators, washing machines, stoves and radioactive materials will not be accepted, according to a news release.




Items should be transported in a sturdy box, preferably in its original labeled containers, with no mixing of items and a limit of 15 gallons or 125 pounds of hazardous waste per trip.
