Scan Systems to Release State-of-the-Art Updates to Tubular Data Systems Software

Scan Systems, a truly unique company dedicated to serving the niche markets of OCTG manufactures, processors and inspection facilities, will release a work order module and billing module for its Tubular Data Systemstm (TDS) Software. The company plans to release the modules in the first quarter of 2013.

TDS, a uniquely capable program and industry standard, was originally introduced in 1994 as a DOS based inventory control system. Its main functions have been to control the inventory received into the yard, manage the movement and storage of OCTG materials, releasing the pipe for shipping, all the while keeping track of the ever changing descriptions such as the material grades, threads and connection, and color bands. Multiple dedicated programmers and developers continue to work on enhancements and complimentary software products to better serve our industry. In addition, to the development staff, Scan Systems has multiple customer service reps in house to provide assistance and support for the TDS software products online, by phone or by email.
