BRIEF: RDW Group founder retiring from Providence agency


Jan 21, 2013 (The Providence Journal - McClatchy-Tribune Information Services via COMTEX) -- PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Mike Doyle, founder of Providence public relations agency RDW Group Inc., said Monday that he his retiring.

James Malachowski, RDW's chief operating officer, replaces Doyle as chairman.

"It was a great ride, and it will be difficult to step away from a life that has been beloved passion of mine for so long," Doyle said. "It's gratifying to know that I'm leaving the agency in very capable hands.



Among the clients and projects Doyle aided were Providence Place Mall, the rebranding of Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island, the expansions of T.F. Green Airport and the Central Landfill, and numerous referendum campaigns, including the most recent effort to expand gaming at Twin River.
